Crocheted Baby Afghan

I found an afghan with this pattern being used for the babies that visit this house.  Done in soft yellow, it is gorgeous and I wanted to work up a doll afghan to give to some little girl who is now a big sister. I also made a "pattern" afghan because I couldn't find the pattern in my stuff and wrote up the pattern in my pattern blog here, to keep it. It is so pretty worked up, and nicer probably in one color of yarn, but this is what I had. I can't remember who gave it to me, but I seem compelled to work up yarn that I am given as soon as possible.

Both afghans--doll size and the pattern

Baby Sacque

I love to knit and crochet and I like to try new projects even when I don't have a pattern. This baby sacque designed for Dalayna's little monster was a "fly by the seat of my pants" project so I hope it does what she wants it to do. We tried it on her little cousin and it worked, it looks like it will only be for newborns, likely the only size baby that would tolerate it very well.

I made a little hat to go with it from the left over yarn.

This scarf looks big, but it isn't, I thought it would fit Boo Boo the bear.
